A large UK accountancy firm are looking for a new Assistant Tax Manager. The candidate will be CTA qualified and will ideally be educated to a degree level. They must demonstrate strong team playing skills and develop professional relationships with their peers and with clients. They should be comfortable taking on challenges provided by their manager and be willing to undertake training or development co-ordinated by the Tax team. 

The ideal candidate will be able to develop clear understanding of relevant legislation and will have a good knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Lotus Notes. They will be self-motivated, able to work to tight deadlines and have an interest in understanding their clients' business. The project will include ensuring client files have all relevant documentation on the appropriate sections, take responsibility for all client matters as directed by the Senior and Manager, adhere to budget and time pressures, and prepare client tax returns.
